Meet Our Dentist

In private practice in Palm Springs, California, he performed many procedures such as sealants, fillings, bonding, non-surgical gum treatment, CEREC crowns & bridges, dentures, digital X-rays, dental implants, root canal treatment, TMJ treatments inlays & onlays veneers, tooth extraction, teeth scaling, and teething whitening.

Born and raised in California, Dr. Osborn attended UCSD for undergraduate education where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications-Visual Arts and Biology. He then spent some time working abroad and experiencing other cultures.

After returning home, he attended the University of Texas in Houston where he graduated in 1989, receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Osborn received the following awards during his training; The Teledyne Hanau Prosthetic Award for Outstanding Achievement in Prosthetics, the International College of Dentists Award for Clinical and Technical Excellence during dental school, and the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry.

After completion of his dental degree, Dr. Osborn practiced general dentistry in Houston, Texas for 6 years before returning to San Diego. In 1997, he purchased Cottonwood Dental Group in El Cajon, California, providing state-of-the-art dental care to his patients until 2018, before going on to practice in Palm Springs.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Osborn enjoys traveling and scuba diving.
